I made this cake four different times but in stead of AP flour I used Swans cake flour. For my great nephews birthday the other day I didn't have enough cake flour so I used AP flour. The cake turn out good as well and taste good too but I will stick with Swans cake flour it makes the cake moister.this recipe is great and the cake turns out great "

I was looking for a cake to bake for Christmas.... so after reading the reviews I decided to make the 7 up pound cake. Well let me tell you the cake was awesome. I was asked did I really make this cake from scratch or did I buy it. The cake was moist and had a great taste to it. I made a butter cream icing using the 7 up in stead of milk . Great...
