Reviewed Peach Crisp with Maple Cream Sauce Recipe : Ree Drummond : Food Network

I made this last week and the overall opinion of the party that the sauce was too sweet. The crisp was good but next time I will peel the peaches, If the peaches aren't quite ripe, dip them in boiling water and they will peel easily. The group thought the texture with the skin was a little odd. I like Ina's recipe better.

The recipe called for a 10x15 but I used 2 8x8 and it worked just fine. The crisp was enjoyed by all and sadly no left overs!! Oh well - I'll make more. Thanks Ina!!

Made it today and wow!! just like my mom used to make. Great German flavor with very little work. I added 2 sliced apples because I remember my mom put apples in hers. Thanks Rachael for bringing back such a good memory!!"
