Reviewed Honey Teriyaki Chicken with Ripe Pineapple Spears and Black and White Rice Balls

"I have made the recipe as is & there isn't one thing that needed redoing unless you were looking to change things up a notch. If you reduce the sauce as she had instructed, you would have had it come out perfectly. Having said that...Now...if you want to switch things up a bit...I have tried this recipe with the following
change(s), I had roasted a head of garlic & once it was good & carmelized I squeezed half of the gooey bulbs into the sauce mixture and the other half I mixed into the rice BEFORE shaping it into balls. If you love garlic you may find that this kicks the recipe up a bit. No matter what... you absolutely cannot go wrong with one of Rachel's recipes as long as you adhere strictly to the instructions as they are printed for you. Make sure to read through them 2x BEFORE you begin to cook them, that way you will have partially committed them to memory & will be less likely to make a mistake.
