Reviewed Trisha's Chicken Tortilla Soup

Super easy and QUICK!! This was a great base for me to get started with! I made a quick stock/broth while boiling the chicken breasts by adding a few veggies I had laying around and used that instead of the canned chicken broth (saved me a little cash). Also, my husband and I like really heavily flavored and spicy foods, so I added a few chipotle "

This recipe is a new staple for me! I had no problems with what was written, but added a few things. I'm not sure you can have a roasted meat without bay, so I added 2 leaves. Also, blended in 2 TBSP of flour right before reducing the cooking juices, a slight suggestion to a gravy. I am a southern girl, after all! ""

I made this for a casual cocktail hour, it was great! I did cut the amount of both oils by half after reading the other reviews and it was perfect! Also, I was afraid it might be to spicy for some older people, so I used a banana pepper in stead of a jalapeno...it was amazing!!! "

Reviewed Dry Rub Baby Back Ribs

Mar 23, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This rub was AMAZING! I only had 3 hours to let the ribs marinade before cooking so...I made a few adjustments. I doubled the recipe and completely crusted every inch of the ribs with the rub. Also, we love spicy food and garlic in my house, so I added a bit more cayenne and some garlic powder. My husband grilled them for an hour at about 250 degrees,...

Two words: Stupid. Good. ---No, really, if you are thinking about making these, you must!!! You could say the salt is a little much, however I enjoyed the saltiness. Possibly could add a little more cheese, if you're feeling crazy!

She might be a lush...but, she's my hero!!! :) This is delicious! You could also use sparking white wine instead of vodka and seltzer water, that is, if you want to be less of a lush! Ha!!!!
