Reviewed Grilled Baba Ghanoush with Grilled Naan

"Um...Did I miss something? I decided to try and make the recipe by following it to a T- something I rarely do. Anyhow, I can not understand why in the world it calls for tat much raw garlic and raw shallots. This combination mixed with fresh lemon juice is pungent enough to sanitize my kitchen sink. I'm no stranger to Baba Ghanoush and I am a HUGE fan of nan, however this recipe seems to be missing a few steps including COOKING more than just the eggplant. I think I'll stick to store-bought until I grow back enough taste buds to experiment with other baba recipes on here.

Reviewed Uncle Bob's Fresh Apple Cake

"This recipe rocks! My husband walked in to the kitchen while I was "baking"- YES! I can finally call myself a baker!- and the first thing out of his mouth was "are you following the recipe?!". Okay, so after 10 plus years he's more than a little clued in to my "baking technique"- or lack there of. HOWEVER, I am happy to report that I was actually able to bake something to be proud of! It was moist, tasty and absolutely fabulous! I used two 8" pans and cooked it for 65 minutes, which was plenty, and I left out the nuts. I challenge any non-bakers out there to give it a go!
