My Activity

Reviewed Pumpkin Pie

"Amazingly simple and delicious. I love the ginger snap crust idea, and I will never again make pumpkin pie any other way. This is a solid recipe that I'm sure is great with any alterations you would want to make. The crust was a little soft (but what pumpkin pie crust isn't?) so I will take cook4hubby's advice and bake it by itself a little longer""

Reviewed Roasted Smoky Cauliflower with Limey Yogurt

"Just so delicious! This is the only way I'm cooking cauliflower from now on. Period. Side note: yogurt dip is also delicious with boiled artichoke leaves. Yummm."

Reviewed Grilled Mahi-Mahi, Ceviche-Style

"I made this for dinner tonight exactly as it's written and it was delicious! Interestingly, one of my favorite parts was the marinated onions in the sauce. One tip that I think Alton would agree with: use FRESH fish! Mine was in the fridge for one night and already the corners were dry and fishy smelling/tasting. My fault, though, and it was still"

Reviewed Cape Cod Chopped Salad

"I made this with baby spinach and without the bacon. It was was a very delicious and hearty salad! On the show she says 'just enough dressing to cover' but the amount the recipe produces is wayyyy more than you would need. You could cut the oil in half and have a lighter, more flavorful dressing."
