"This recipe turned out ok for me. I should have followed my instinct and added two more peppers. I did double the recipe as I used roughly 7 pounds of chicken wing drummettes, again I should have added two more peppers (lack of heat was the only semi-negativeI didn't necessarily want them "hot" I just wanted more zing. About Me

Love to cook! Love to entertain! House full of men-boys or maybe they're boy-men one thing is for sure they all have healthy appetites and love to eat at home.

Love to grill in all kinds of weather  - don't like when fuel is used on the coals! Really don't like it....

My boys and family inspire me to cook! Just seeing how happy they get when I tell them we are on for the weekend and knowing they'll appreciate every bite makes me happy and makes all the work worthwhile.

Favorite Foods

Pizza - have mastered a crispy thin crust, my favorite is fresh garlic, fresh cheese, tiny bit of onion, and sausage.

Arroz con gandules - I purposely only make it about 4 times a year so I can really savor it.

Lasagna  with meatballs - accidently found a trick for airy bouncy meatballs, literally bounced off of the top of the heap, to the counter and onto the floor! It was so hysterical, could not get the spaghetti and meatball song out of my head for days!

Grilled chicken - be it with garlic, lime, BBQ, or just plain

Ribs - in the oven or on the grill, sweet and tasty

Lechon azado  with cuero - YUM! slow roasted pork shoulder with crispy skin. Falls off the bone and is juicy! Someone "tried helping me" one time and I still don't talk to them! Leave my methods alone!
