I used 1 LBS ground hamburger and 1/2 pound of pork sausage which added a bit of punch. I also used Ricotta instead of cottage cheese and extra sharp cheddar. I also added 1/2 pounds of mushrooms to the meat and onions about 5 minutes before I added the tomatoes. Turned out amazing! Everyone loved it!

Great recipe! Followed the recipe to a T but at the end I added some liquid smoke and I really think it added the little kick I was looking for. Fantastic!"
