“I used 2 cups of Bisquick, 2 cups of cheddar and used my hand mixer and these turned out well. Using the mixer is key, I've made these before moving by hand and they turned out dry and crumbly. I would suggest using ALMOST 2 cups of the Bisquick and cheddar, unless you have a little more sausage. Overall, good recipe.
