"A-MAZING!!!!! I had to substitute the vanilla for almond extract. (Who runs out of vanilla.. well I did!) I used 1/4 tsp of almond extract and with the lemon.. oh my gosh! After it sat over night, it was even better! I took it to work and it was gone within a few hours! A repeat, no doubt!"

"I love all Giada's recipes and this one is a homerun if you have time. It takes a while to do the prep work - cutting veggies and washing veggies. But that is how all lasagnas are anyways.
I did change some things up and it turned out great!!! I used extra garlic cloves in the sundried tomato mix. I also did not use 2 jars of sundried tomatoes. I only used 1 jar plus little cherry tomatoes (seasoned) to fill in. I also used bacon instead of pancetta for the crunch. I added the bacon in as an extra layer in the middle. I also used mascarpone cheese with the ricotta in the aspargus mix. With all these substitutes, the meal rocked!!! Tons of flavor! Thanks Giada!
