I really enjoyed this recipe. To those that didn't, it is very important that you use self-rising flour as instructed. It is also imperative that you beat the butter mixture for 6-8 minutes (I washed some dishes and greased and floured my pans, letting my stand mixer do the work in the meantime...this makes it light and fluffy.
