Reviewed Caramel Cake

"The frosting is tricky. I would advise having a 2nd set of hands to whisk the icing over low heat while you apply it to the cake. This icing goes from drippy and warm to spreadable very quickly, It then stays in the spreadable state for a very short time before setting up. Work quickly and cross your fingers! Mixing in some salty peanuts and using it as a glaze would be yummy too, and much less work.

The cake is very sweet, but what would you expect from a caramel cake. Make sure you have plenty of milk on hand.
