Reviewed Grandma Hiers' Carrot Cake
"Loved this recipe!! I made it for Easter Sunday, and everyone raved about it!! My mother-in-law (who is an excellent, experienced cook) said it was the best carrot cake she'd ever had! Definitely a keeper recipe!! Thanks!!"
Reviewed Spinach and Bacon Quiche
"This quiche is AWESOME!! I made this for my husband and me one night, and it was delicious and so easy. My husband loved it so much he ate up all the leftovers for breakfast the next few mornings! I decided to not add the chopped spinach since my husband and I aren't big spinach fans, and it still turned out great!! Thanks, Paula Deen!! I have lo"
Reviewed Flour's Famous Banana Bread
"Delicious recipe!! This was my first time ever to make banana bread. It came out moist and very flavorful! :P My husband brought some to work to share with his coworkers, and everyone loved it! Thank you, food network, for this recipe! Will definitely making it again! :)"
Reviewed Not Your Mama's Green Bean Casserole
"This recipe came out really delicious! :)) Green beans were the perfect texture, and the creamy mushroom part was the perfect flavor and consistency! WAY way better than the canned recipe!! "I made this trail mix as a Fathers Day gift. It turned out well, and dad really liked it. The only thing I had trouble with was the baked oats. I didn't think their flavor was very good. I'll probably make this recipe again, but just buy granola in place of the oats. Otherwise, the recipe was very good! :) "
Reviewed Spaghetti and Meatballs
"This was the first time I made meatballs, and they came out moist and delicious. I made them for my parent in laws. I just used regular Parmigian cheese, and they were still awesome. My father-in-law and husband raved about the meal! I am definitely making this recipe again! :) Thanks, Emeril! "
Reviewed Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
"These were really good. Probably not the best I've ever had, but definitely a recipe worth trying. "
When I first got married 4 years ago, I knew almost nothing about cooking. I basically knew how to boil water, brown ground beef, and cook a few simple desserts. I have come a long way since then, but I still have so much to learn. I love cooking tasty dishes for my husband, family, and friends. I so appreciate food network because they have so many good recipes. I can search their site for just about any recipe I want to try and even set the level of difficulty. The chefs are so friendly and encouraging as well. Thanks Food Network!
Mexican Foods: enchiladas, tacos, fajitas, burritos, as long as their not too spicy or full of onions.
Spaghetti and Pizza- Emerils red sauce is AMAZING!!
Breads- almost any kind; I'm a huge fan!
Desserts- I have a major "sweet tooth," that I have to keep in check. I love chocolate desserts especially.
