The bottom line IMO: The tart is looks better than it tastes. Mine looked as gorgeous as Ina's (a credit to her technique, not my skill - I am sure.) But the flavor was a little flat and nothing to write home about. It may have been the Granny Smiths I used as called for in the recipe. I think a nice crisp Fuji or Gala may have been nicer. "
