My Activity
Reviewed Snapper with Fennel, Onion and Tomato
"I made this dish for guests with a few alterations. I used 5 large pieces of swai and 6 plum tomatoes cut into quarters for the sauce. Made this in a skillet then spread some in the bottom of a baking dish, placed fish on top and then used remaining sauce to cover the fish. I baked this in the oven. All loved it."
Reviewed Vegetable and Dumpling Soup
"I made this soup following the recipe exactly. Loved all the different vegetable flavors. My husband could not get enough. However, instead of the dumplings, I made matzoh balls, adding dill to the batter. Fabulous. Thank you for yet another wonderful soup recipe. "
Reviewed Roast Loin of Pork with Fennel
"This meal was fabulous as well as easy. My guests raved. I had pork tenderloins on hand, so I used them and roasted them for only 30 minutes and they were very moist and tender. I also added a large, cut up yam to the roasted vegetables. Thank you Ina for the many recipes I have used from your collection.
Reviewed Shepherd's Pie with Mushroom Onion Gravy
"Made this for company. Got raves. I made the separate layers several days ahead of time and kept them refrigerated in containers. Just before dinner, I assembled the dish as directed and then baked. I also heated the gravy. What wonderful comfort food. Thank you.
