Reviewed Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Honey Butter
"This Thanksgiving was the 3rd year in a row now that I have made this dish. Its a healthier alternative to the traditional marshmallow topped sweet potatoe dish, oh and I add a dash of ground cloves.
Reviewed Turkey Sweet Potato Shepherd's Pie and Cran-applesauce Sundaes
"Lots of pans, instructions not clear, double yuck and waste of time I agree. I love Shepherds pie, and was so looking forward to making this as it did sound yummo! I ended up scraping the sweet potato topping off, and I am going to remake it using Youkon gold potatos. I dont know what to do with the sweet potato topping I scraped off, a thin layer of peas, turkey, and gravy is stuck in it. EDIT: I did indeed scrape off the sweet potatoes, but retopped the pie with regular mashed potaotes and it was yummo. The turkey does indeed give it a twist, but in the future if I have left over turkey more than likely I have left over smashed potatoes. I do like sweet potatoes and now my all time fav receipe is http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/tyler-florence/roasted-sweet-potatoes-with-honey-butter-recipe/index.html
