I followed Alton's recipe exactly. Pre-heated oven at 500 degrees. when the timer went off after 30 minutes, I opened the over to a pretty darn burned turkey. It's still cooking. I lowered the temp to 300, instead of 350. Will post an update late. I am hoping it tastes better than it looks. "

FABULOUS! The only change I made was I use chicken and had to quadruple the recipe! I have a ministry group in my home each week and treated them to a special dinner (14 young adults, all in their 20's--talk about a tough crowd!
