Didn't make this but after reading disappointing comments we noticed the only use of salt in the directions is on the meat. Then after it's salted and cooked the meat is drained. Just wondering if reviewers added more salt than directions call for. It sounds like they didn't if the chili was bland or missing something. Food for thought! ""

Do yourself a favor and make these. We did a little larger version (closer to 2 heaping tablespoons of dough per cookie, 6 per cookie sheet) makes a moist, saucer size, eat with a fork treat. After all if you make them small you will have to eat two! Best cookie some in the crowd ever ate."

Sorry about the bad review but this did not work for us. I didn't keep track of the prep. time or cost but everything was ready to start cooking one hour before my wife got off work.
