Reviewed Chocolate-Orange Cake With Salted Caramel

"Gave this only three stars because it was a big pain to make (I made the recipe from the Food Network magazine not the online recipe and kind of laughed that they rated this "easy," I guess it was easy, just super time consuming) and neither the ganache nor the caramel turned out the way they were suppose to (and certainly did not look like the pi"

Reviewed Easy Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese Croutons

"I wish I wasn't so full from eating this soup that I could have another bowl! Don't skip the saffron, it MAKES the soup! It tastes like something you would eat in a high end tapas restaurant. We made the soup exactly as written with just a couple of substitutions... used fat free half and half instead of cream and one and a half onions was exact"

Reviewed Honey Roasted Butternut Squash With Apples & Pecans

"I made this instead of sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving for my parents who came in from New England and love winter squash. It was DELICIOUS and my mom is going to make it for her Christmas dinner!"

Reviewed Roasted Delicata Squash Wedges

"DELICIOUS! Super easy, great week night healthy side dish. I did peel the skin as the reviews suggested, sprayed with butter flavored Pam, and sprinkled both sides of the squash (since I peeled it) with the brown sugar spice (I made both sweet and savory, both were awesome)mixture. I can't wait to make this again!!"

Reviewed Homemade Tomato Soup

"Absolutely delicious! I used fire roasted tomatoes, subsituted fat free half and half instead of heavy cream to save some calories, and used basil in a tube since I didn't have fresh basil and it was perfect. The only problem was that I don't think I cooked my veggies long enough so it was still a little chunky after pureeing it, but it was still yummy. It's -9 degrees outside and it was the perfect dinner with grill cheese sandwiches! NEVER using canned soup again!

Reviewed Indian Summer Turkey Chili

"This was just OK. I changed some stuff, so maybe that's it, but I didn't like the BBQ flavor in my chili. Here's what I changed... I needed to use up my Thanksgiving turkey, so I chopped that pretty finely and used that instead of ground turkey. I used the seasons as called for and added some extra. I used a can of tomato sauce, a can of fire roasted tomatoes and a can of kidney beans, and a full bottle of beer (Samuel Adams, no corn and less BBQ sauce than it called for but it was still too BBQ-y. Next time I'll omit the BBQ sauce and maybe it will taste better.
