Reviewed cornmeal crusted chicken cutlets with salsa mayonnaise

Sep 21, 2014 on

Great layers of flavor. I didn't need nearly 1 cup of cornmeal, more like a half cup. I thought there could be a little bit more spice and I had even increased the cayenne and cumin already.

Reviewed potato salad with green beans and pesto

Liked this a lot. As someone else mentioned, there didn't seem to be enough oil in the pesto, but that was easily fixed. I thought the flavors were great together. Such a nice change of pace from the mayo based potato salads.

Excellent. I had with Chicken Souvlaki & Tzatziki Sauce, Rice with Feta. Great Combination. I don't like licorice flavor, but fennel is so delicate and so good, especially roasted.

Outstanding! The blackberry and rosemary flavors complement each other perfectly. I had really big filets, so after searing, I cooked in the oven which allowed plenty of time for the sauce which is deceptively simple. Impress your friends and family with this recipe.

Loved this healthier version of tacos with the turkey and squash. I used a summer squash because I had it on hand and it worked well. I made them along with the fire roasted corn salsa and Mexican rice skillet from the same show. A great meal."

I loved this. Taking the advice of others, I increased the spice level and I used a medium-hot chili powder. With the beans and the cheese, I could have eaten the whole recipe myself."

One of the best salads I've ever had! The flavors were perfect together. I served on leafy lettuce and some cherry tomatoes for a main meal. I can see why Prince William won his polo match!"

Terrific! Like someone else said, the reducing was taking quite a while, so I made a slurry with a little of the sauce and some cornstarch and whisked it in, and that thickened it nicely. I used a good chili powder instead of the puree. I also added the juice of a lime.""

This is really good. It may be a bit too sweet, I might reduce the white sugar by 1/4 cup next time. Rather than serve with chopped almonds on top, I toasted chopped almonds and mixed it into the ice cream as it was freezing."

Really good. I didn't have the cranberry juice, so used the grape juice I always have on hand and it came out fine. Like another reviewer said, it's the perfect mix of crispy and chewy.

Reviewed Spiral Ham

Jan 1, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

I made this for New Years Eve. I had a larger ham, so increased the ingredients of the basting liquid. I was careful to get the basting liquid distributed throughout the slices and the end result was VERY spicy, but good. Next time, I'll not increase the chipotle amount if I need to increase the amount of basting liquid, and I also will let it keep...

Delicious and pretty easy for a very impressive end result. I used gluten-free bread to make fresh crumbs and also put some chopped fresh rosemary in the crumb mixture and it worked great. I couldn't find fresh figs, so tried to use dried figs cut in quarters. It would have worked better if I had cut the pieces of fig smaller.
