Reviewed Beatty's Chocolate Cake
"This is the best chocolate cake I have EVER eaten, quintessential chocolate cake perfection. My husband, friends, and family agree. They beg me to make it.
Notes:
1 The first time I made it, I used cake strips on the pans to insure even layers and the layers both sunk in the middle. This is a phenomenon I have never seen and I bake a lot of cake"

Reviewed Sloppy Bombay Joes
"I had given up on ground beef and, therefore, sloppy joes years ago. But these made with turkey are totally delicious. My husband and I had seconds (and we hardly ever have seconds of anything). I use fat-free ground turkey and everyone loves them. One batch is never enough so I now make a double batch so we can have leftovers. My 5-year-old tomato-hating, bell-pepper-hating, onion-hating grandson proclaimed his "yummy!" and asked for more. Then when he saw the pieces of red pepper in the part that fell off the bun, refused to eat any more. Arrrrggghhhh! (The next time I tried using yellow bell pepper and that "disappeared" in the sauce better.)"

(Next time I will try yellow bell pepper; that will likely disappear better. There is enough sauce that he didn't notice the onion.)
