Reviewed Sweet Potato Shrimp Cakes
"Just finished these. My husband and I LOVED them. Definitely a new favorite. I'm glad the recipe mentions squeezing the excess water from the sweet potatoes after grating. I think that helped. It also helped to sprinkle a little extra flour on the patties when they were ready. Great recipe find!"
Reviewed Wild Rice and Oyster Casserole
"Great! I made this dish for my sister and brother-in-law before she had her baby. They actually were able to freeze it and eat it later when everything was crazy with a newborn. They loved it! Very delicious and certainly adjust spiciness for your liking. We like it hot! Really easy dish that is a hit.
(On another note--I don't understand why som""
Reviewed Moussaka
"This was delicious! I made this for a Greek themed dinner with some girlfriends and it was devoured. It makes a LOT. I will say that I followed this exactly with one exception (which some may consider major)--I do not eat lamb or beef so I used Morning Star non-meat crumbles and it did the trick. In fact, no one even realized it was "fake" meat un"
Reviewed Garlic Basil Shrimp
"This was an easy and light dish, but I'd have to agree with a few others that it was a little on the bland side. Some extra whole basil leaves definitely helped, though. Certainly a great dish to have on hand as the ingredients, other than the shrimp, are items generally already in the kitchen. We served it over spaghetti squash tonight and though"

Reviewed Spaghetti Squash "Carbonara"
"This was a hit in our house--even my non-vegetable eater husband enjoyed it. I will say, though, that we modified it slightly and left out the bacon---I know you may think it would lack flavor, but it didn't. We served it with shrimp. Delicious!"
Reviewed Papa Bear Oatmeal
"This was delicious!!! My husband loved it, too, and he wasn't super excited about having oatmeal. This was a hit with both of us, though. I agree with some of the others, I'll never make oatmeal another way again.
Reviewed Biscuits
"SO yummy! I made small biscuits, using a shot glass as a cutter. After reading some other reviews, I baked them at 410 for about 10-12 minutes and then I increased the temperature to 425 for the last 3-4 minutes, letting it get the golden tops. My husband and I devoured them.
I cut the recipe in half and we do have some leftovers, but I still don't think it would make 3 dozen even if I used the whole recipe, so that is something to consider when you make them. However, it's easy and not very time consuming to just whip up another batch! I love how they end up with some little pockets of butter when you break into them! delicious!!! This is the recipe we're using from now on and we're not wasting any more money on pre-made cans. Is there anything you can't make with a cast iron skillet?
