"The pie is excellent. I knew that the ingredients would make a large and deep pie. Unfortunately all of our pie pans are just shy of 9" and more or less a traditional depth. My point is -- I had enough of the custard to make 2 pies! I wonder if anyone else encountered that. Yes, I did check whether I added to much of any one of the ingredient"

"Served with mashed potatoes and a vegetable versus as a sandwich. It was excellent. Marinated for about 4 hours - that's key along with using cracker crumbs verses a breading. This goes into the 'make it again' folder.""
