Hello,, my name is Joy Martin. I am a 33 year old native from Lake Charles, Louisiana. Yes the home of GREAT food and the land of the SWAMPS. Most of my people come from down east. From Alexandria to New Orleans. I love to cook. Cooking relaxes me and it brings joy to my heart to see a person enjoy something you put so much thought of the taste in the process. At the same time; making it seem so simple to do. When you love cooking and have a passion for it,,,,,you can bring so much to life. Love, is one of the great things that comes from eating certain foods. It brings joy to some many peoples heart. I just love to cook and I love learning new things.
I am a mother of five sooooooo.....of course I gotta cook!!!!!....love it all the same thought. I also see a resturant in my future. So hopefully one day I'll be featured on the FOODNETWORK....I love this show. Every cook and chef that is on it. I love dearly. The Neely's have my heart because of the LOVE they showcase to people and also they feed their pastor. God said feed HIs sheep. Bye! Happy Eating!
