About Me
I'm a freelance magician. I make magic happen onstage and off. I really have no magic wand for the kitchen. But if you taste my food, you'll agree that it is the greatest illusion of them all.
For fun, I rake up a big pile of leaves and jump in it. If it's not autum, you might find me riding go-carts with my kids or jumping on a trampoline. If it's not summer, I could also stay in with a good book.
My pet peeve is when someone asks me for directions and I have no idea where the place they're looking for is.
I'm inspired to cook by my pangs of hunger (HA) and by Jesus Christ, who fed the masses from just one loaf of bread, and whose body we consume at church.
Favorite Foods
I like skate wing, chicken wing, batwing, tartar sauce, mesclun, jolly ranchers, banana pudding, rice, meat, cake.
My famous dish is a pandora's box of skin-on guinea hens which I roast in a kettle most Monday nights and invite friends over to help me devour while we watch Wheel of Fortune.
My favorite restaurant is my mother's kitchen. It's always open, reasonably priced, and made with maternal love.
