chickpea thanks for pointing out the difference in respect to Kosher and table salt. I just wanted to note that I did use Kosher salt, and I did find it way too salty even with the Kosher amount. I would still reduce salt amount using Kosher to even 1/4 or 1/2 tsp as per your taste.

I think over all this was a very good recipe. Biggest problem is that Ina said they would be crispy and as most reviews as well as mine lacked crispyness. I am not sure they can be more crispy but this may have to do with the type of potatoe. Wnen I watch this episdoe the potatoe she held did not look like the sweet potatoe I know. Most sweet pota"

I gave this recipe a poor rating becaues this website is all about food and prides itself on having great recipes. I can see if a recipe can be a lttle off when it comes to how much different folks would like particular flavors...However, something as simple as over salt is not OK! Unless you cook alot some folks would think this is ruined an migh"

Oh, one more thing..I was afraid it would not be sweet enough so I did not add the 2 Tbsp of vinegar, one seemed like enough. In addition,I really made my brown sugar measurements on the heaping side. As it sits and cools the sauce thickens and flavors get more complex. I wonder how long it would keep in the fridge. Not like it would last that lon"
