My Activity

Reviewed Magical Peanut Butter Cookies

"Read the reviews before you make them and then decide if this recipe is for you. Note, these are NOT traditional cookies, but can be a decent substitute if you need to watch your weight, gluten, sugar, etc. I added cinnamon and shredded coconut flakes to mask some of the splenda flavor... but the after taste can still be strong :/ "

Reviewed Ricotta Cheese Crepes with Persimmon Apricot Marmalade

"1/4 ounce salt.... that cannot be right? It created an inedible, overly-salty batter! Unfortunately, after wasting the batter, I compared this to other crepe recipes on the website and most do not even use salt, and if they do, it is a "pinch!

Reviewed Cold Cucumber-Avocado Soup

"This was completely bland (gave it 1 star because that is the minimum required to post, to me it was a ZERO!). Rather than "soup" it would maybe pass as a dressing... Soup implies a bowl full, and there is no way you could stomach a bowl of this! I think it was a waste of [expensive] avocados. I recommend you let the avocado shine by making a yummy guacamole instead!"

Reviewed Leftover Baked Potato Soup

"The recipe calls for too much chicken stock (i reduced it to 3 cups) and is quite bland. I omitted the 1/2 cup sour cream that goes in the soup (just used a dollop on top of each bowl), added additional fresh pepper, crushed red pepper flakes (color looks great in soup without too much added heat), and ground cumin. Overall, a good starting recipe, but i would play around with it...."
