"I've used three different pop over recipes (this, Better Home & Garden's, and my grandmother's) and Alton's is the best... by far. These pop overs turn out with a large air pocket which makes for a crispy outside which is great and there's also quite a bit of doughy-ness at the bottom which I like because it's my favorite part.
