Reviewed Toasted Jasmine Rice with Grilled Scallions
"Yummy!!!! This is my second time making this dish and both got rave reviews from family and friends.The first was according to recipe. This time, though, I added tbsp sesame seed oil when I toasted the rice to add more toasted flavor. I sauteed the chives along with chopped carrots, onions, and dried cayenne peppers instead of roasting them just because it is winter and did not want to fire up the grill. As a final touch, I added tsp of sea salt and tbsp of lime juice. Yummy!!!
