"Totally tweeked this recipe. I sauted shallots, baby bella mushrooms and finely chopped garlic with butter and add the worcheshire sauce in one pan. In another pan I brown the ground beef(80/20)with salt and pepper. In a sauce pan I melt 3 tbls. butter, once the butter is melted add 3 tbls.(a rouge)then add one 14 oz can of beef broth adding slowly to thicken the gravy. Then add 2 dashes of worcheshire to the gravy. Mix the gravy, beef, sauted shallots, baby bellas and garlic in a bowl and let sit. As far as boiling russet potatoes, Ore Ida has the "steam and mash" russet potatoes in the freezer section so all you have to do is pop them in the microwave for 10 minutes, then pour them into a pan, add butter, sour cream, heavy cream, salt and pepper to taste and mash. In a casserole dish layer the beef on the bottom, a can of drained corn in the middle and the mashed potatoes on top. Place in a 375 degree oven and bake for 45 minutes...Trust me...this method is to die for.
