This pie comes out fantastic ALL the time. My husband just absolutely adores it. The only difference is that I use two Pillsbury pie crusts on top of it (we like the extra crust) and I add (chop) another apple to the mix. GREAT RECIPE!!"

This recipe is a REAL KEEPER (along with Paula Deen's pumpkin trifle!) The only thing I did different was use 1/2 of the ground beef and added 1/2 of italian sausage. I also put some baby bella mushrooms on top while it was baking. This is a 10-star recipe!"
