Fantastic. I'd been looking for the perfect Normandy Tart recipe and have tried several. THIS IS IT! Also, the addition of crisco to the Pate Brise makes ALL the difference. THANKS!

Forgot to add that I squeezed the juice of 1/2 a lemon over the chops after taking them out of the oven and removing them to a warm plate. Then let them rest 15 min. If you want your chops to be medium, remove from the oven at 140 degrees. They will continue to cook while resting.

Great recipe! Nice flavor, easy to follow. The reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is that they left out brining. Veal chops are very lean and so benefit from a brine. I find that 90 minutes is enough. The result will be the most unbelievable moist, tender veal chops you can imagine. Brining is a MUST!

Great recipe! I doubled the garlic (we like garlic!) otherwise followed exactly. Delicious! Served it as a side with roast chicken. Big hit! Next time, I am going to add toasted pine nuts. I am going to try cilantro instead of parsley for a change but it';s absolutely great as is."

I filled these with vanilla pudding instead of ice cream. DELICIOUS! The first time I made them, I forgot to return the mixture to the heat as recommended before adding the eggs. The second time and they came out so much lighter. It is really amazing how easy they are to make once you get the hang of it. Thank you for a great recipe!"

I filled these with vanilla pudding instead of ice cream. DELICIOUS! I do wish mine would've puffed up a bit more. I will try again. However, those eating them had NO complaints! Not at all difficult. Thanks!"

I';ve tried several french bread dough recipes. This one is the best. I slit the bread before letting it rise and that again in the same spots before baking. This will give you those deeper slits you seen in traditional baguettes. I also use two level teaspoons of yeast which is slightly more than a packet. I place a small cast iron pain of w...

Just made this for the second time to thank my South African friend for helping me with my car. This time I made it with seedless raspberry jam. WOW! I know the apricot jam is traditional but was it GOOD! And much appreciated by my friend. Thanks again, Zurie, for this great recipe and all your advice. :)"

GREAT RECIPE! I used 1 3/4 cups water, doubled the parmesan and seasoning and added 3 fat cloves pressed garlic (we love garlic). Also switched out one of the cups of flour with white whole wheat flour. Came out perfect. I set my bread machine (Emeril';s) for 2 lbs, whole wheat and medium crust. Next time I think I will use 1 1/2 cups white ...

Followed this recipe exactly except I sliced the cubes a bit thinner. OUTSTANDING. The slightly bitter, pepper arugula perfectly offsets the sweetness of the melon. I do recommend using a grill skillet or disposable foil grilling pan for the watermelon. It can be slippery and difficult to work with on the larger grates of a grill. Otherwise, didn'"
