I wouldn't make this recipe again though it tasted alright. My 2 main issues were- 1, because the recipe didn't call for it, I didn't think to drain the meat and this resulted in a very greasy meat and veggie mixture. It looked so unappetizing. And 2, the parsnips were still hard after an hour of cooking, while the potatoes were nice and soft. "

I went easy on the cumin and paprika and used the chopped tomatoes I had on hand instead of whole. Also went with chicken thighs instead of breasts. It didn't look too promising while I was cooking it but it did turn out very well and tastes great. We'll make this again!"

The non-sugary toast itself had basically no flavor. If I wanted something drenched in sugar I would've just eaten straight sugar. That was the only thing giving this french toast any taste and it wasn't worth it."

The sauce was too much and thick (despite thinning with pasta water) for the amount of pasta. And worst of all it was completely flavorless. Added salt, pepper, parmesan and romano. NO flavor.
