Makes enough for 2 dinners. Love the tart taste but did add extra brown sugar and maple syrup to sweeten a bit more. I made it ahead, yay and didn't put it in the blender (didn't want the cleanup). Will use it for turkey this time and pork loin dinner next time. Love the idea of keeping it thin and pureed for cranberry martinis! Keeper for sure;)

Found a beautiful head of romanesco at our favorite farm stand and wanted to find a recipe worthy of its beauty----this wasn't it. Very bitter and no subtle hand in this dish. It wasn't even pretty with all of these colors.
Anne is still a rock star but this recipe isn't even worth modifying to save it. Sorry.......

Couldn't find my peach cake recipe and thought this one sounded good and easy. It was! I had some fresh blueberries and added them for flavor and color (it worked). I also added and recommend extra peaches.
To combat the fruit falling to the bottom---1) The batter is pretty sturdy; so simply doing a medium dice or a thin slice should work....

I would like to point out this is more like a salad than a dinner but it is a salad that eats like a meal. (Hope that makes sense...) Have made several times and loved it every single time! You cannot mess this one up.
A quick tip I use is to make sure the grapes are FIRM; this helps them not to get soft when you roast them. We also like to grill the sausages. Enjoy!

Nice trick for rice krispy treats(rkt)! People who love rkt still enjoyed but people who are bored with rkt loved the difference. Don't over boil caramel mixture (I followed instructions exactly). Also, make certain sugar is disolved completely into the butter before adding the rest of the ingredients or it can "sugar" on you.
