"Subbed 1/8 c molasses (in pan, w/butter) for the brown sugar, used freshly grated nutmeg, and added a tbsp minced candied ginger and a splash of lemon juice. Adjust cooking time according to how thick or thin you slice your apples. Great w/pork, poultry, ice cream or individual handcrafted tarts."
