About Me
I am a Southern Woman born in Florida that loves to cook for my family and friends. To me a good home cooked meal every evening brings my family together at least once a day in this rushed and hurried world we live in. We have wonderful conversations and get to hear about each others day. This is one way we stay connected, and that is the way it should be.
I feel I got the best of both worlds. My mother was born in Kentucky and was an amazing country cook just like her Mother. Her chicken and dumplings, yeast rolls, and soup beans and cornbread were amongst my favorites. I was so lucky to be a part of a family that brings everyone together, weather it be a reunion, or sunday dinner. We have beautiful family ties and a lot of them were built around the familly dinner table.
My faternal Grandmother was born and raised in Ponte Vedra Beach Fl. and was the best southern cook I know. She could fry up the best fish for breakfast, served with grits and eggs. She was raised on the land and sea, and I was so blessed to spend a lot of time with her and at her dinner table. She cooked dinner every sunday, and what ever she put on the table was absolutley the best. That is why I say I have the best of both worlds.
My name is Dina Sanchez, and I love to watch Food Network and get new recipes to share with my family at my dinner table.
