This is delicious! Totally as advertised, real comfort food. Followed the recipe as written except I added my own homemade chicken stock (see Ina Garten's chicken stock recipe, it's the best!) and I also added an extra teaspoon of thyme. As far as the flour controversy - to me, there is none. This is a gravy not a roux & if you mix the flour...

Excellent pancakes! I've made them twice, first time I followed the recipe as written. Found the cardamom an overpowering flavor, a good flavor, but too much. The second time I made the pancakes I halved the amount of cardamom & the pancakes were perfect! I also added blueberries to the pancakes while they were cooking, made them even better!...

I made this salad for my Easter dinner. It was a great accompaniment to our Ham dinner. I made the salad as directed. It was delicious. I like the flavor of sauteed onions vs raw onions. Awesome dessert - made for my family a couple of times already. Very easy to make and I do add the Lemoncello - gives the dessert a little more "oomph" with no alchol flavor. Definitely a keeper.""

This is an excellent recipe!! I have made this a few times for my family and they love it, so I thought I would make it for a dinner party - I got the ultimate compliment "Please give me this recipe, its so good"!! Like other reviewers I use two cans of beans and I also cut up chicken tenderloins and add to the spezzatino. This makes for a much...
