Reviewed Scalloped Potato Gratin
"I tried this recipe tonight to test before my actual thanksgiving meal...I made an addition of a blended cheddar cheese mix into the layers along with the Parmesan cheese. I also made a little beschamel sauce, because I was afraid the dish would dry out....it was amazing and so easy!! My family devoured it, this is a must try and will be a hit!""
Reviewed Penne with Butternut Squash and Goat Cheese
"After I saw this I had to try it out! It was my first time cutting uncooked butternut squash into cubes, but it was well worth the task. I used more butternut squash and onion then what was on the recipe, but it's so yummy! You hardly miss the meat in this dish, but next time i'm going to pair it with italian sausage or grilled chicken. Thank you Giada!"
Reviewed Roasted Spicy Mayonnaise Chicken Breasts
"This is super simple and yummy! It goes great on rice or sliced on a salad. I'll definitely be making the again, maybe try it on fish..."
Reviewed Shepherd's Pie
"This is a simple and delicious recipe! I used ground beef as well, added more chicken stock, and tomato paste to make it a bit saucier. Also, I mashed the potatoes with milk instead and added a tad a sour cream. DELICIOUS!"
Reviewed Braised Chicken with Mushrooms and Almonds
"So tasty and pretty simple to make. Just don't over due it with the almond butter. It goes great over white rice or a little pasta. My boyfriend and roommates loved it!"
Reviewed Red Velvet Whoopie Pies
"These are a bit heavy and dense, but maybe because I didn't sift the mixture. However, it doesn't mention to sift the flour mixture...I should have read all reviews before attempting to make these. These came out huge when told to scoop out "heaping tablespoon" amount. Does anyone have suggestions for a thicker cream cheese frosting, that's not too sweet? Overall, I would attempt to make this again, but with a few adjustments. "
