Over the top. Absolutely delicious. I made this for Holiday brunch today. As someone who LOVES anything chocolate I did find it very rich. Serve very small slices and everyone will be in chocolate heaven. It will be added to my traditional holiday recipe file. Thank you Giada for sharing.

Anne you have added another recipe to my favorites. Although the preparation is long it is not tedious. You are so right when you say seasoning with salt is important in the recipe. I usually don't cook with a lot of salt but I took your advice this time. This makes a ton of pasta and sauce so I cut it exactly in half and still have enough for ano"

I love all of AB's recipes so I decided to bake this cake. I had just bought grains of paradise for his Lentil Soup (fantastic )and had everything else in the house so why not. This is the strangest tasting cake I have ever baked. It leaves a peppery after taste so I can't decide if I should store it in the freezer or toss it out. I'm leaning towa"

Jan 13, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Easy to make and looked just like the picture but...there was no marriage of the ingredients as to taste. Butterscotch was the only flavor that stood out. Where was the lemon? Where was the butter? I tossed them out. Not worthy to share. I have a reputation to uphold.""

Sorry Alex but these were horrible. I prepared them exactly as given. When they were finished I tasted them for seasoning and then threw them out. A major disappointment since I enjoy you very much and am rooting for you in Iron Chef. But then again everyone is entitled to a mistake now and then.""

Paula's recipes usually have tons of fat laden ingredients so I tend to enjoying her show but never made them. This one is different. Absolutely wonderful. It doesn't even need any tweaking. Perfect just as it is. It is our go to during football season. I strongly encourage everyone to make an enjoy this keeper""
