I made this yesterday and it is gone by today and there are only 2 of us in the house. Need I say more? I made it in springform as others suggested and it worked out perfectly. It is not that sweet and I think next time I make it I will pack the brown sugar instead of loosely pack for the topping and see if that gives it the little extra sweetness...

So easy and tasty too. I took the advice of other reviews and reduced the amount of wine to only a 1/2 cup and did not add any at the end and it had plenty of flavor. I used burgundy that I had on hand. Will definitely make it again.

Made these tonight as a dry run before maybe serving them for company next week and they were given the thumbs up by my family. They definitely took longer than 30 minutes to cook though. I did baste them periodically also during the cooking process. We loved the "crispy bits". Very nice presentation.
