Reviewed Molten Chocolate Cakes with Raspberries and Cream Recipe : Emeril Lagasse : Food Network

Mar 26, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

Very tasty! Used six 4oz ramekins since that was all i had, baked them for 10 minutes and they turned out great. A little crisp at the very edges and a nice gooey center. Didn't have time to make the sauce (planned on subbing with strawberries since they are in season) and served with vanilla ice cream.

Reviewed Salmon Baked in Foil

Jan 22, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

The idea and sauce was good, but my salmon was grossly overcooked. Think I will try it again and cook it for 10 mins less next time. The sauce was very tasty. I used fresh thyme because I had it and I added garlic and some Italian seasoning. I think I might try cooking the sauce then adding it over seared salmon too since I am fairly confident...

Easy and delicious. I halved the recipe and used anchovy paste instead of the fillets and added garlic. I used french green beans along with some broccoli because my garden is exploding with them. Will definitely make this again.

Reviewed Glazed Carrots

Dec 26, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

Made this to bring for a pot luck Christmas dinner. Big hit. I used 3 large bunches of whole carrots peeled & cut on the bias (probably triple the recipe) and doubled the other ingredients (except the butter). I removed the carrots when al dente and reduced the liquid to a nice thick syrup. I read some other reviews that mentioned it took...

Reviewed Grilled Marinated London Broil

Jun 23, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Used a 2 1/2 pound top round london broil marinated for 24 hours. I grilled it for about 10 min each side then moved it over to indirect heat to cook it through a little more. I let it rest about 10 minutes and it came out perfect, just the right amount of pink. I reduced the marinade to use as a sauce, it was strong, but good. "

Reviewed Lentil Soup

Apr 3, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Delicious and healthy. I used the whole bag of red lentils (1 pd was roughly 2 cups of uncooked lentils) and just added a bit more stock. I used an extra carrot & celery stalk, tossed in a parmesan rind and a few bay leaves and lastly added chopped kale and swiss chard just before I put the lid on to simmer it. I make my own stock & freeze it, "

Feb 3, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Wow, this was an amazing cake. And so easy to make. I used a spring form cake pan after reading other reviews. Came out perfectly. The first time I made it I tried to transfer it to a pretty cake stand before it cooled enough and it deflated. The second time I waited until it was cool and had no problems. I used Godiva Liquor because that is"

Sep 25, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Delicious! I added some minced diced red peppers and used 2 good sized frozen sockeye salmon fillets (from costco) that I skinned & chopped up finely. I added a sprinkle of a dried sesame ginger mix to the patties after they cooked to add some crunch. Will definitely make this again."

Easy & delicious. I saute a shallot and a clove of crushed garlic first. I also use homemade chicken stock in place of half the water. Grilled them to try something different. Family loved them and they loved that they didn't have any grease taste from the usual pan frying. I didn't use any special meatball grilling equipment (I hate gadgets!) just put the round balls on the grates and turned them every so often. I closed the grill between turning to cook them through. Family loved it. Husband and father said it was the best pot roast they have ever had. Store only had 3 pd chuck roasts. Jun 9, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Cannot believe how delicious this was! My 7 year old said it was the best thing she has ever eaten. The instant potatoes I bought weren't flaked so I mixed some of them with panko to insure a good crust. The curly celery was fun to look at & added a lot of whimsy to the plate. I served the fish over a puree of cauliflower, potatoes, parsnip, g"
