Reviewed Pumpkin Cheesecake with Bourbon Spiked Cream

Very disappointed in this recipe. I followed it to the tee, no modifications. The cheesecake was bland - could barely taste the pumpkin. It definitely needs more spices. And the crust was just OK. I would have preferred a gingerbread crust, but probably because the spices were lacking in the cheesecake. Definitely going back to Paula Deens' recipe...

After reading the reviews the only change I made was to add some olive oil to the blender for the paste. The flavors came out beautifully and my guests kept complimenting me all through dinner. I highly recommend this dish for a quick, fantastic and tasty dinner party dish! The spices were perfect. "

I just made these for Christmas dinner to go with a rib roast - they were fantastic! So easy to make and so tasty. Everyone loved them! The only change I made was to not add the red wine vinegar.
