My Activity

Reviewed Nonna's Artichokes

"I made these for a dinner party last night. My guests said they were the best artichokes they ever tasted. I made them exactly as written except I didn't add any salt thinking that the olives, capers and anchovies were salty enough. Absolutely delicious! Grazie nonna!"

Reviewed Lemon Chicken Breasts

"I made these for a dinner party I had last night. They were delicious! Tender and juicy chicken. I read the other reviews and only added a little salt to the lemon, wine, oil mixture and no more. It was plenty - just enough! This is a great chicken recipe and I will make it again soon!"

Reviewed Chocolate-Banana Filled Crepes

"The crepes made way fewer than the 18 they were supposed to make. As usual when making crepes the first one is scrapped. Jacques Pepin says that the pan has to get into the mood. I only got 8 usable crepes after the first one scrapped. I had to make a second batch to get enough."

Reviewed Fleur De Sel Caramels

"These are delicious. I followed the recipe exactly, but I made 32 pieces - just a bit smaller bites. They took just minutes to make. They will be my xmas gifts this year. "

Reviewed Oatmeal, Cranberry and Chocolate Chunk Cookies

"These are delicious. I am not the biggest fan of cinnamon, so next time I might reduce it, but they came out great."

Reviewed Flour's Famous Banana Bread

"This is delicious! I took the suggestion of others and reduced the sugar to 1/2 cup, and it was plenty. I love that it doesn't have butter, so it is not greasy at all. Whipping the eggs and sugar make it light and fluffy. Really will make it again!!!"

Reviewed Irish Soda Bread

"This is a really versatile recipe. I love it just as written but I also took it in a savory direction. I substuted 1/3 cup of finely chopped herbs in place of the currents and omitted the sugar. I also used half whole wheat flour. I served it with stew for dinner. It was also great. Use whatever herbs compliment your meal, or whatever you lik"
