Replied to Roasted Garlic Clove Chicken

The same thing happened to me. I think I cooked it too long after adding the lemon. I think I might add the lemon and chicken broth first next time and see how that works out.

Was not very pleased with this recipe. I was wary of using that much tomato paste in a recipe, but I followed the recipe as written. As I suspected the sauce came out very acidic and rather than a deep rich flavor I found it a bit harsh. There was no way the veggie flavor could come through with all that paste. The color of the sauce was so unappet"

I belong to a CSA and got carrots this week, so I figured I would give this recipe a try. Unfortunately I was a little shy of 2 lbs and only had 1/4 of a sweet onion. I figured what the heck I'll make it anyway. I supplemented the onion with a tablespoon of a good quality onion powder and sauteed a fugi apple to make up for the weight of the carro"

This recipe is amazing. The breast turned out moist and juicy, and the flavors were spot on. I think the cooking time is accurate, although mine took about 2 1/2 hours, which was probably because the breast needed a little more thaw time in the fridge. My liquid did evaporate quickly so I added a little bit of water as needed Next time I will incr"

I was a bit concerned. because I started reading the reviews after they were already in the oven baking. Many reviewers wrote that there was a puddle of oil on the bottom of each cup. Luckily they came out moist and delicious and were lightly crunchy on top, pretty much perfection. I am moving and had packed away my muffin tins, so I used those al"

I have tried many recipes for Pernil and not one came close to this one. This was more tender than any restaurant or homemade I have ever tasted. I could never get the meat this tender nor the skin as crispy, but this preparation gave me both. This is the recipe I will always use!!!"

I needed a quick simple dish, I had not defrosted anything for dinner. The only thing I had ready to go was ravioli and jar sauce. My husband balked at the fat content, so I started searching the site and found this. I always have tuna, jar sauce and pasta on hand because I stock up on these items when they are on sale, so I think my total cost f...

I think this is the best minestrone I have made. I love the hearty complex flavors, and the fact the veggies stay firm but tender. I followed the recipe as written (I always save my cheese rinds for risotto, which I never get around to making. The only thing I messed up was forgetting the garlic, when I noticed it I just added a comparable amount...

This recipe was so easy and delicious. It actually tastes even better the day after. I read the all the reviews before I made it, so I was careful not to use all the Essence on the shrimp, but seasoned the shrimp with it. The result was mildly spicy and perfect for my family members who like their food on the tame side. If it's for fire mouth fans"

Amazing recipe! I made these the other day, and everyone in the family agrees that these are the best oatmeal cookies we ever had. Not only are the flavors balanced, the texture is also wonderful. They have a beautiful crunch on the outside with slightly softer texture on the inside. Since they didn't last very long the first time, I made them again...
