Reviewed Pomodoro Fresco Sourdough Bruschetta
"Loved this bruschetta! Was worried at first I would miss the traditional mozzarella, but I didn't miss it a bit. A great twist on a classic bruschetta, great for a party and SO FAST to make!
Reviewed Bacon-Apple-Jalapeno Pop 'Ems
"Made these for a Super Bowl party and the guests couldn't WAIT for them to get out of the oven because they smelled so good. The apple and green onion was an unexpected twist that really made these spectacular. I actually forgot the salt and pepper, and they were still delicious. I took the advice of lalala_no_no_10945540 and made some with mini sweet (bell) peppers for those that didn't like the spice of the jalepenos (which really wasn't much at all anyway), and they turned out great. Definitely cook for longer than 30 minutes if you are buying bacon off the shelf. Mine took about 45 minutes for the bacon to crisp up. If you can get really thin sliced bacon from the meat counter, then the 30 minutes is probably spot on. Thanks Aarti! Great recipe!
