HELP! Ok, I know I might have made a mistake but I'd like some advice as to where. I made this recipe and used three small eggs instead of two large. I then excluded the crust. Huh? Why all the extra ingredients? Canned soup? Soup MIX? BOTH soups contain extra sodium and MSG which is simply not needed for a classic recipe. Exclude the soups, double the amount of broth, saute the veggs before using them and it will turn out amazing.. Made this recipe without those horrible corporate soups and this turned out delicious!"

I don't understand all the positive reviews for this recipe. Julia Child says no more than 1/2 a cup of oil per yolk. YES of courseoil you'll get soup! I make mayo all the time and I thought this recipe seemed oddly short on egg yolks. I used two and it came out PERFECT.
