My Activity

Reviewed Skirt Steak

"I omitted the cumin and increased the marinating time to approx. 8 hours as I didn't think an hour or two would be sufficient. I then cooked them on the bbq as I simply could not be bothered doing the hairdryer thing. The steak came out tender and flavorful. I'll make this marinade again."

Reviewed "Mock" Garlic Mashed Potatoes

"An absolutely awesome recipe which I will make again. I couldn't be bothered patting the cauliflower dry so I simply drained the water from the pot and returned it to the still hot (but turned off) burner with the lid on for a few minutes which evaporated any excess water. Reviewed Mini Skillet Meatloaves

"I made these for my very picky father who is currently on a low-carb diet and he ate every last bit! Served them with the "Mock" Garlic Mashed Potatoes recipe from Chef George Stella that I found on this website which is a nice complement to the meatloaf. Definitely will make these again."

Reviewed Cilantro Grilled Chicken Breast

"Due to the weather not cooperating for bbq, I pan seared the chicken breasts in some olive oil. I then turned off the heat, topped them with the cilantro butter and covered with a lid for about 1-2 minutes. The butter combined with the juices from the chicken and made a wonderful sauce to spoon over the brown basmati rice and fresh asparagus I was"

"A bit labor-intensive but absolutely worth the effort. Yum!"

Reviewed The Ultimate Roast Chicken

"My new favourite roast chicken recipe! I used dried herbs instead of fresh and as someone suggested, grated the zest from the orange into the butter mixture which really amplified the flavour. ""

Reviewed Homemade Applesauce

"So easy and so good, especially with pork. I substituted vanilla sugar for the brown sugar which gave it a nice depth. ""
