My Activity

Reviewed Tossed Salad with Orange Segments, Goat Cheese, and Walnuts

"This is a great salad recipe. The dressing is nice and bright. I like to use almonds instead of walnuts, and it works really well.

Reviewed Spaghetti and Meatball "Stoup" (thicker than soup, thinner than stew

"I love this recipe, and have made it several times. I always substitute ground turkey for the meat, but otherwise, I am faithful to the recipe. I love it, and everyone who has tried it agrees. It makes great leftovers, though it becomes less of a "stoup" and more of just pasta. I have also used the meatball recipe on its own, and it worked out great.

Reviewed Baked Garlic Cheese Grits

"This is an awesome grits recipe. I love the flavor. It was really rich, however, so be aware of that when planning to use this as a side dish. It is definitely a special occasion kind of dish, I think.

Reviewed Chicken Noodle Soup

"This is a nice quick light soup recipe. I did add some cooked chicken for texture. I also switched the tarragon for thyme just based on taste preference. It isn't an overly fatty orin your face kind of chicken soup, but it makes a nice weeknight meal.

Reviewed Easy Lemon Pasta with Chicken

"This recipe is so-so as far as pasta recipes go. It was quick and easy, and the result was okay, but I think that it needs some tweaking. Without changing some of the portions, and adding some ingredients it is a little dry.

Reviewed Cranberry-Almond Granola

"This was a really nice granola recipe. I thought that the apple concentrate would be weird, but it all worked out well. Instead of dried cranberries, I used dried cherries and dried blueberries, which kind of gave the granola a nice variety (but definitely made it more expensive to make). The granola kept for about a month stored in tupperware, and it still tasted fresh.

Reviewed "Molten" Flourless Chocolate Cupcakes

"This recipe is really simple to make and has excellent results. I made them as a gluten-free option with several other kinds of cupcakes, and this one stole the show. Definitely taste best warm, as the recipe recommends. I don't think that this recipe requires any substitutions. It really was fabulous.
