Very good recipe! I used more beef broth and reduced it, and used 3/4 cup each peas and corn. The whole family loved it; our 10 year old declared it his 2nd favorite food. :-)

This recipe was outstanding! I reduced the butter slightly in the stew, added about a tablespoon of fresh thyme, and used frozen biscuits to save a little time. I made this with my 10 year old son; the whole family loved this and he was so proud of himself. Next time we'll make the biscuits too. :-)

I whisked in a good mount more oil to thicken and it was fine, but I'm guessing...

Made these exactly according to the recipe, with very good quality cocoa powder. While beautiful, they don't have alot of flavor and the texture was so mushy my 9 year old offered me the rest of his. Keeping them refrigerated helped the texture issue but they are still bland- I would not make these again.

Reviewed Cranberry Bean Pasta Fagioli

This recipe is totally lacking in flavor- I think there is a misprint on the volume of water. ( I make scratch soups all the time - 3 quarts of water does not make 4-6 servings- I should have known better. ) I used top quality dried cranberry beans, pancetta and fresh herbs. Note that the "rave" reviews all significantly altered the recipe ( sub"
