"I used sliced baby portobellos, stems removed which I sauteed w/ salt & pepper till most juices were released, then mixed in the breadcrumbs, using less than called for as a previous reviewer did. I cannot, however, since it is Mary Alice's recipe. But this is VERY good. You need to buy quality deli items, not from the grocery. I went to our local deli w/ the recipe & had him slice what I needed. I also served this w/ crackers and celery sticks along w/ the bread from the bowl. I did not buy the additional hoagie rolls. All was well received
