Reviewed Gooey (With Less Butter Cake

Aug 18, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Not as decadent as the original but very good. I read the reviews and added a couple more splashes of buttermilk to the cake batter and added 1 T of butter instead of 1 tsp. Served with sliced pears and peaches. I did end up needing to bake it 40 minutes. Very good."

I used the marinade for 6 pork tenderloins at our 4th of July celebration. Obviously had to increase the volume. Everyone exclaimed how good it was. I'm sending friends to your page so they can run a copy. "

Reviewed Baked French Toast Casserole with Maple Syrup

I halved the recipe and was not happy with the results. It just was soggy despite extended baking time. I will try this again with the whole recipe when the crowd warrants it. Loved the praline topping, though."
